CANCELLATION POLICY

Bamboo Hair Salon has a strict cancellation policy that requires 24 hours notice for cancellation or last minute changes to your appointment. Should you decide last minute to remove one or more services from your scheduled appointment, you will be charged in full for these services.

Appointments cancelled without 24 hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service.

As a reminder, please call the Bamboo Hair Salon only (not the service provider directly) as soon as you know you can’t make your scheduled appointment. Thank you!

Phone Calls & Text OR a direct cancellation via our online booking system are the only way Bamboo Salon will accept an appointment cancellation. We do not accept appointment cancellations via email or social media. We understand that emergencies happen, and kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible. Contacting your service provider directly does not count as a cancellation.  We reserve the right to enforce this policy at any time.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS & LATE ARRIVALS

Guests who do not show up for their scheduled appointments without contacting the Bamboo Salon via phone or text are considered absentee and are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of  their scheduled appointment.  We do not accept cancellations via email or social media. Contacting your service provider directly does not count as a cancellation.

If a guest is more than 10 minutes late for their set appointment time, we will make every effort to provide the service for which the remaining time allows. If this is not possible, this may result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service, as outlined in our cancellation policy above. CORRECTION SERVICE POLICY

Bamboo Hair Salon strives to provide the highest quality of service. If a guest feels that they need to come back for any reason,  we require guests to contact management via email at bamboohairsalon@gmail.com within 3 days of the performed service. A 15 min in-person  appointment is then made to come in and consult with the stylist who originally performed your service. Please keep in mind, your hair health is our ultimate priority, going from darker to lighter tones may require more than one service to achieve your desired goal.

It is our company policy to revisit the original stylist who performed your service. If you would like another stylist to make any corrections, you will have to pay for the service provided.

Bamboo Hair salon does not offer refunds for services performed. All of our pricing is clearly stated in the SERVICE section of this website. Please refer to our a-la-carte menu as all of our services and add-on treatments are priced individually.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Bamboo Hair Salon has right to refuse service at any time. The comfort and safety of our team and guests is our top priority. If a patron is demonstrating inappropriate or aggressive behaviour,  we have the right to stop performing service(s) at any time during the appointment.

Bamboo Salon has the right to refuse service requests if our stylists feel uncomfortable, or feel like the services to be performed will compromise the integrity of the hair. We will work with you to make recommendations for services that might be safer for your hair overall.

RETURN POLICY

When products are purchased in-salon, you can exchange within 7 days of purchase if the item has been unused.

ONLINE PRODUCT PURCHASES

If you have selected the curb-side pickup option, please wait until we send you a notification that your product is ready for pickup.

Tuesday- Friday  9am-9pm
Saturdays: 10am-4pm

Pickup location is at Bamboo Hair Salon 1601 Victoria St. N Kitchener, ON.

SHIPPING

Shipping is only available within Canada. Shipping rate is a flat rate of $14.95

Orders will be shipped within 2 business days. Please make sure the shipping address is correct as we can’t redirect orders once they have been sent. In the case of an incorrect shipping address, additional costs will be incurred by the customer.

All orders are subject to availability and credit authentication. During sale and holiday periods, additional processing time may occur.

SHIPPING TO P.O BOXES OR MULTIPLE ADDRESSES

Orders shipped to P.O. Box addresses, rural postal codes and remote locations may take longer to arrive. Please allow additional time for orders shipped to these addresses.

Orders may only be shipped to one address. If you would like to order items that require shipping to multiple addresses, place separate orders for each address.

TAXES & DUTIES

Prices displayed on the website do not include taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax (where applicable) and shipping charges will be calculated and displayed on the Order Summary page.

 

ONLINE ORDERS

If there is an issue with an item you’ve purchased, please get in touch with us within 7 days of purchase. All online orders are final sale.

IN-SALON EXCHANGE POLICY

Exchange/Store credit will be issued within 7 days of purchase as long as the products and tools are unused and in their original packaging. Please contact us asap if you have purchased an item that you wish to exchange.

REFUND POLICY

All of our services, packages, auto-pays, and gift certificates are not transferable to other clients, and cannot be combined with other discounted offers. Also, we do not offer cash refunds for any of our products or services.
