Who we are

Bamboo Salon is the perfect blend of professional and relaxed. Our staff are knowledgeable, trained and experienced in the most on-trend cuts, colours and styles, delivering you the perfect look, every time. We also have a barber shop within the salon offering creative cuts, fades and razor shaves to keep the men looking fresh too. Whatever look you’re going for, we are ready for you!

Not sure how you’ll both come and get your hair done? That’s ok; we are one of the only salons in the tri-city area that truly welcome and accept families and kids so your whole crew can get spiffed up and then go about your day. Parents can feel comfortable bringing their kids into our space because at Bamboo Salon you are always encouraged to come as you are! Everyone is welcome here.

Tiffany

meet the owners

Tiffany Smith has been immersed in all things hair since 1999. She opened Bamboo salon out of her basement in 2005 and assumed that’s where she’d be for the rest of her career. But her passion, talent and infectious personality meant a growing demand for her services and she had to hire staff. By 2015 they were bursting at the basement seams and she opened Bamboo in its current location where it continues to grow and thrive. She even had her husband join her to set up a barber shop within the salon so they could start offering even more services for the tri-city men!

Tiffany has a true passion for training and mentoring others in the industry and is always looking for ways to help her fellow stylists and staff members to learn and grow. She is also in love with entrepreneurship and business.

Whenever she’s able to take a break from all of that, you’ll find this wife and mama hanging with her family, shopping, golfing, skiing and volunteering with Food4Kids, an organization dedicated to fighting child hunger in Ontario.

Tiffany is accepting clients by referral only. Consultation is required prior to booking your first appointment and is subject to a consultation fee.

Nick

meet the owners

While being co-owner of Bamboo for a long time, Nick Miller officially joined the in-house team at Bamboo Salon in 2013 as The Bald Barber! Nick offers classic cuts and styles for men with a modern twist.

Much like his wife Tiffany, Nick truly enjoys working with new staff members as a teacher and guide to help them hone their skills and grow their careers.

Outside of being The Bald Barber, Nick is an avid mountain biker, wakeboarder and skier. He also takes some time to give back to the community through his volunteer work with Food4Kids and Cops for Cancer.
